NEWARK, NJ – May 1, 2023 – Robert Koelsch, CEO of AEM.GREEN (Advanced Energy Machines), took the stage at the TRU Workshop at ACT Expo, held at the Anaheim Convention Center, to detail his innovative Zero Emissions TRU.

As the co-inventor of AEM's groundbreaking SolarTechTRU, Koelsch showcased his expertise in the all-electric transportation refrigeration unit (TRU) field. Since 2012, AEM has validated over 8 million miles on-the-road, over 1 million hours of proven reliability & safety, and over 1.5 million safe plugins. The units operate with solar panels, lithium batteries and a proprietary wheel generator. 

AEM’s Zero Emission TRUs are the only California state approved refrigerated units for multi and single temperature units, with over a decade of successful road test safety and reliability data behind it. AEM currently has 98 units actively operating in California. The California Clean Off Road Equipment Voucher Incentive Project (CORE) has been awarding zero emissions vouchers to AEM since 2020.
